When I'm out on expeditions or traveling I try my best to report back my stories, and the incredible experiences I've had, to you! Of course, there's no way to show you 100% what it feels like to pole a canoe through raging rapids, accidentally stumble into an illegal immigrant resupply point, or encounter a 1200 pound moose, but photos are a major way that I try to give you a taste of the adventure. Moose Tales and Boat Sails- Maine 2012
The Maine expedition in 2012 was one for the books. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. We got into a moose accident on the drive up, the field school was struck by lightning, and the river rose 12 feet. That wasn't enough to take the fun out of this amazing trip though! It was truly memorable, and utterly grueling.
